Learning and Creating Exhibition Display
    Exhibition Design is a fusion of multiple design disciplines that come together to communicate objects, information and ideas across a range of three-dimensional environments. Simply means communication and storytelling through environmental experiences that inform, entertain, and inspire. The discipline considers the exhibition from the perspectives of communication, design and fabrication that involve a mastery of spatial planning, image manipulation, narrative, colour, and working knowledge of structures, typography, combined with an understanding of audience and human factors, to shape storytelling experiences across multiple exhibition venues. Exhibition Design include stores, fixtures, window and merchandise displays, museums, trade shows, zoos, theme parks, and visitor centers; and temporary installations like large scale events, photo shoots, and stage sets. interior-design environments and scenography for festivities, and cultural and theatrical events.
    Aim of the course is to equip students with an understanding for planning of built or open spaces to provide an appropriate environment for communication, and to create a contextual / experience that supports communication / interpretation of ideas to audiences by creating a multimodal and multi-sensory experience.

    1 Introduction to Exhibition Design, various types of display like stores, fixtures, window and merchandise displays, museums, trade shows etc.
    2 field visit to Phoenix Mall / merchandise displays to understand exhibition theme and its parameters. (students has to make in group, photo PPT of stall displays)
    3 Group PPT presentation and discussion/ debate on understanding of theme and its parameters.
    4 & 5 Design and fabrication of 3D structure practical session (involve a mastery of spatial planning, image manipulation, narrative, color, and working knowledge of structures)
